Excellent tech recruiter in Manhattan, NY. They work very hard for you and represent tons of interesting companies. They are also very transparent, will not hide anything from you, and will not force anything on you. They make a sincere effort to find the right fit, and are very objective about the process when sharing opportunities with you. They will communicate with you every step of the process and are very attentive to your needs and your personal career goals. Good to have these guys around throughout your career, and they're eager to maintain a long-term relationship with their clients. They seem to have a genuine desire and a sense of responsibility to help you find the perfect fit, and there is no better quality in a recruiter. Highly recommended.

Big waste of time called me in for a face to face interview never followed up with anything they said they were going to do (like send me all these great job descriptions they said matched my skill set). Wouldn't even respond to email or phone calls.

Very unprofessional.

Standard legalized con man organization. Like all good con men, they try to charm you with their personality while all the actions they do betray your trust and work against you.

Beware of the "I have to speak with my manager" which actually means (translated from con man speak) "I am never going to answer your question"

Never tell them were you've interviewed, since they will just send more of their other candidates to complete against you, even though they'll claim its to "avoid them submitting your resume to a place you've already been".

If they tell you they have jobs that match your skill set, force them to produce a list ASAP otherwise they are most likely taking you for a (painful) ride. They do use fake job postings so watch out.
